Terms and Conditions

  Dear Guest,

  A warm and friendly welcome from all of us at Byslades International Touring Park. Although we do not wish to restrict your enjoyment, we ask that you kindly adhere to the following conditions:

All caravanners and campers must report to the Park Reception on arrival. Pitches are available from 12 noon and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. All pitches are numbered and allocated by the owners. We will endeavour to comply with your specific requirements but cannot always guarantee this. Additions to your booking must be notified prior to arrival to enable allocation of a pitch of adequate size to accommodate your requirements and comply with our fire regulations.

If you will be arriving after 7pm please notify reception in advance and a pitch can be reserved for you on our late arrivals area, if necessary. Electric hook ups are allocated on a first booked basis. Latest arrival without a confirmed booking is 6pm.

The owners do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to person or property by visitors on the park whether arising from accident, theft or otherwise.

Admission to Byslades is by permission of the owners or an appointed representative only. The Park and all facilities are for the sole use of residents only. For your added safety security barriers and CCTV have been installed. A refundable £10 cash deposit is required on a card to gain access through the barrier.

We accept couples and families only. A maximum of 6 occupants per unit. This number includes any pets. We will not accept bookings where the majority of your party are 16 to 20 years of age. No commercial vehicles, boats, ski boats or generators will be allowed onto the park. The right is reserved to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any persons whose conduct is detrimental to Byslades or guests. Maximum length of stay 21 days per unit.

Caravans should be parked with jockey wheel in line with the pitch number and at right angles to the hedgerow. This will ensure that the area for each caravan is in accordance with council regulations. Due to Fire Regulations, only one car is allowed per pitch. Additional cars can be parked in the car parks. Commercial vehicles are not allowed onto the Park. Repairs and car/caravan washing are not permitted. Vehicles must be driven with due care, the speed limit is 5 m.p.h on all parts of the Park. Only drivers with full driving licenses are permitted to drive on the Park, no learner drivers or children sitting on drivers' knees.

Day visitors will not be allowed to drive on to the park, they must report to reception. If we are aware of the visit the first 30 minutes is free and therafter will be charged half the nightly tariff, otherwise the fee will be the full nightly tariff. All visitors cars must have passes displayed and be parked in the visitors car park. Visitors must not bring dogs on to the park. Please remember the maximum occupancy of a pitch is six persons.

Please keep pitches tidy, ensure all litter and refuse is disposed of in the bins provided, as litter attracts seagulls, please be aware that they are scavengers and shread unattended refuse sacks, scattering the contents in all directions. No clothes lines are allowed (hook on window type maybe used). No open fires are to be made on the Park but proprietary make barbecues are permitted but must be at least 30cm from the ground. (Please do not burn the grass). Musical instruments, radios etc must not be used after 22.45 or at any time to the annoyance of others. Chemical toilets and wastewater containers must be emptied in the appropriate places.

Dogs are not accepted during the Peak season. At no time do we accept Alsatians/German Shepherds, Bull Terriers, Dobermans, Rotweillers or similar breeds or crosses of these breads. A maximum of 2 dogs per unit is at park discretion. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and only exercised within the designated dog walk area. No annoyance is to be caused by any pets to other park users. Do not allow your dog to foul on the Park, but in the event of an accident please be responsible for clearing the area. We provide poop bins in the doggy exercise area, please be a considerate owner and use them. Under no circumstances must dogs be left unattended in units, or tied up outside whilst the owners are out. Dogs must not be taken into any building or facility on the Park.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Parents/Guardians are fully responsible for their children in all respects. For everyone's safety roller skates/blades, scooters, skateboards, bikes etc are not to be ridden in or around any of the Park buildings or car parks but on the leisure field only. Please warn your child of the dangers especially around water (eg swimming pool and pond) a few carefully chosen words beforehand could ensure your holiday is memorable for all the right reasons. Please note that the children's playground is not supervised, and must not be used after 10pm. Please play ball games on the games area and not around the caravan and tent pitches.

The swimming pool is not supervised and its use is entirely at the user's own risk. No lone swimming is allowed. A proficient adult swimmer must accompany non swimming adults and any children under the age of 15. Approved swim wear only to be worn in the swimming pool. No fun rings, inflatables, frizbees or balls allowed in the pool or pool area. No type of glass in or around the pool area. The swimming pool will be solely for the use of adults during the 30 minutes at the end of each day. For the safety of all using the swimming pool, we do not allow diving, jumping or running in or around the swimming pool area. Please ensure all your party are aware of these rules as anyone breaking them will be asked to leave the swimming pool. Unless written notice of cancellation is received not less than 21 days prior to the commencement of your reservations period, you will be liable for the full amount due for your reservation. The deposit for each week is non-refundable. If required, insurance companies now offer holiday cancellation insurance. Refunds will not be issued for inclement weather or early departures.

The proprietors do not accept responsibility for damage, loss or death, injury or accident to persons on holiday or visiting Byslades International Touring Park.   Thank you for your co-operation in reading these conditions.   Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any problems.
